Good care coordination is not about adding more administration. It is about making the right context visible at the moment someone needs to act.
CareLedger is designed for the moment a family decides that care should stop living only in memory, scattered messages, or a notebook that one person happens to have. Download the app to create a care circle, set up the person receiving care, add the essential items for the day, and invite the people who need to help.
The first setup does not need to be perfect. Start with the information that makes tomorrow easier: a routine, a task, an appointment, or a handoff that someone else needs to see. Optional notes and preferences can be added after the core plan exists. The aim is to help a circle become useful quickly without forcing a long form before anyone can record the first care item.
A CareLedger invitation is designed to begin on the web because the person receiving it may not have the app installed yet. Open the link on the phone you plan to use. If the app is already installed, the link can open the app and continue the join flow. If it is not installed, the website explains what is happening and provides the store route for the relevant platform.
After installation, the invitation context can be handed back to the app where the platform supports deferred linking. If that handoff is interrupted, the invitation flow can provide a manual recovery path instead of asking the recipient to guess which circle to join. Never share an invitation token publicly: it is a private access link for the intended recipient and should be treated as expiring context, not as a password.
The Android listing is the primary download route while the app is being prepared for wider platform distribution. The button below uses the configured Google Play URL when one is supplied to the website deployment. That lets the marketing site stay correct as the listing moves from testing to public release without changing the page structure.
Android users should install from the official store listing rather than an unverified file. Store installation gives the app the expected package identity, update path, and permission context. Notifications may also depend on device settings such as notification permission and battery optimization. CareLedger explains those requests in the app at the moment they become useful; declining them should not erase the underlying care plan.
Use the official Google Play listing.
Open an invitation link before or after installation so the join context can be recovered.
Review notification and battery settings if you want reminders delivered reliably.
Contact support if the listing is unavailable in your region or the link opens the wrong app.
The iPhone listing is not enabled on this page until the official App Store URL is configured. That is deliberate: a dead or guessed store link is worse for trust and search quality than a clear page that waits for the verified listing. When the listing is ready, the deployment can add PUBLIC_APP_STORE_URL and the download card will become active.
On either platform, the store page should describe the product according to what it actually does. CareLedger is for coordinating everyday care, routines, tasks, reminders, and handoffs. It should not be presented as a diagnostic tool or as a replacement for professional medical or emergency support.
A new user reaches the authentication and onboarding flow, where the app can explain its purpose before asking for the information needed to create or join a care circle. Legal consent language sits near account creation, and privacy and terms remain available before someone commits to an account. The flow should return the user to the intended action after authentication rather than dropping them at an unrelated screen.
A person joining a circle should see which care recipient they are joining and what their role allows before accepting. A person starting a circle should be able to create the essential plan first and invite helpers once the recipient context is clear. Both paths should be recoverable if a network request fails, a permission is denied, or the app is reopened later.
Installing an app does not create a care team by itself. The useful next step is to make the shared context explicit: choose the recipient, add a small number of high-value items, invite the people who will actually use the plan, and agree on how the circle will use Updates for handoffs. That sequence helps families avoid creating a large empty system that no one checks.
CareLedger is meant to become a dependable daily surface through repeated small actions. The best first plan may contain only a morning routine and one check-in. As the circle learns what needs to be visible, it can add schedules, tasks, appointments, and notes without changing tools.
If a download or invite does not behave as expected, start with the support page rather than repeatedly opening a link. Check that the link was sent to you, that you are using the same device you plan to use for the app, and that the invitation has not expired. If the app store opens but the application is not available, the release may not yet be available for that platform or region.
CareLedger does not need a recipient to publish private care details on the website in order to hand off an invitation. The browser page should keep the token opaque, avoid indexing invite routes, and use secure links. Account and circle access should still be governed by the app’s authentication and server-side authorization rather than by the appearance of a web page.
There are two sensible ways to begin. If you are organising care, download the app, create the care recipient context, and add a small plan before inviting helpers. If you were invited, start from the invitation link so the app can associate your account with the intended circle. Choosing the right path reduces duplicate circles and helps everyone see the same recipient and role from the beginning.
Once you are inside the app, resist the pressure to configure everything at once. Add the recurring activities that are most important to the next few days, confirm the people who need access, and use the Today view to test whether the plan is easy to scan. You can refine the care plan as the circle learns what information needs to be visible.
The best download experience does not end at installation. It leaves a person with a clear next action: create the shared care context, join the invitation, add the first routine, or invite the next helper. That is why the download page explains both the store handoff and the product flow after installation.
If you are evaluating CareLedger for a family, begin with the smallest real scenario you need to coordinate. A short trial with one person, one routine, and one handoff will tell you more than a speculative configuration of every possible feature.
A trustworthy download page does not promise features that are not available on the current build. Store links, platform availability, notification behaviour, and optional health-related modules should match the release that a person can actually install. That is why the site uses configurable store URLs and keeps the iPhone action inactive until an official listing is available.
The same principle applies to invitations. A link should help a person join the right circle, not make them guess whether a generic download will preserve their context.
Clear answers help a care circle decide whether the product fits the way they already share responsibility.
The core care coordination experience is intended to remain available without requiring every caregiver to subscribe. Store availability and optional coordinator features may vary as the product develops.
Open the invitation link first. If CareLedger is installed it can open the app; otherwise the website can direct you to the relevant store and preserve the invitation context where supported.
The website explains the product and handles invitation handoff. The main care experience is delivered through the mobile app.
Use the support page to check the invitation link, confirm your device, and contact the person who invited you if the invitation has expired or was sent to the wrong address.
